The ASL Lusaka Road Solar Project is a 162.34kW on-grid solar power installation designed to meet the growing energy demands of ASL’s headquarters in Nairobi. The system consists of high-efficiency solar PV panels mounted on the rooftop, connected to grid-tied inverters for seamless integration with the Kenya Power grid.
This project was engineered to reduce electricity costs by offsetting daytime consumption with clean, renewable solar energy. With real-time monitoring, ASL can track energy generation and system performance, ensuring maximum efficiency throughout the year.
By adopting this solar solution, ASL demonstrates its commitment to sustainability, cost efficiency, and environmental responsibility. The system is expected to generate over 240,000 kWh of clean energy annually, translating into significant savings on utility bills while avoiding more than 200 tons of CO₂ emissions each year.
